Hi, in one of my projects, the drop down menu in RT (left side of the timeline) does not show all the options. Only: Use playback settings" and "Full Quality". Why? Because of the media files I am using? Anybody can explain me please? Which chapter should I check on the respective manual?
Thanks a lot.

Close, but rather, what format is your sequence set to? The codec, frame size and frame rate needs to be blessed by the FCP RT engine for you to get the different RT modes. www.strypesinpost.com
I did a custom project that was 2048x512, and not only was RT disabled, but all
video and all audio would have to be rendered. And as it was for computer playback only, I made sure to disable all video outputs, as this resolution doesn't meet the generic HD standards. Other than this, the project worked quite well, even without the RT imakid Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hi, in one of my projects, the drop down menu in > RT (left side of the timeline) does not show all > the options. The full array of RT options are only available to codecs FCP works with...those you find in the EASY SETUP window. If it isn't there, then your RT options are near nil.
And yes, with non-standard dimensions like that, it will need to be rendered. www.shanerosseditor.com Listen to THE EDIT BAY Podcast on iTunes [itunes.apple.com]
