workflow with panasonic hdc-tm700

I've read conflicting opinions about importing to FCP 7 from this camera - panasonic hdc-tm700. Any advice? Which settings? Thanks Chris R

SHoot 1080i60...not 1080p60. 1080p 60fs isn't supported on tape, nor on DVD, nor BluRay DVD. SO why shoot a format that isn't supported?

Thanks Shane, Which setting in FCP 7 would that be for 1080i60? (Presumably 1080i50 since I'm in UK) Is it a straightforward import? Lastly, does anyone have any recommendations for a camera in the Panasonic hdc-tm700 range for which FCP workflow would be simpler? Chris R

I don't know that camera, so I can't say for sure. I just know that 50p and 60p aren't supported formats.
