FCP media management question

yes, there's new timeline button for turning the function on or off,
but it's all locked or all moving.

on longer-form projects where you might have chapter markers fir instance, moving markers are great.
the last 2 long-form projects i did i was having to manually add the chapter markers for each playout DVD.

for a short spot say, you probably wouldn't need moving markers, so you can just turn off that function,
and have a 30 or 60 second marker set
