I have seen in the last 4 versions of FCP that sometimes on old projects the media in the TL reads as offline but it still plays and scrubs as usual.

What is happening when this occurs?

so i am just seeing fcp play the render files. which is why it wont load into the viewer or export. I don't need the project but It has always baffled me when i saw it.
