De-Interlacing

I have DVCHD footage shot at 1080i60. I use the FCP version of Keylight to key green scrn.

I want to de-interlace the footage first, then pass it to Keylight. What is the recommendation for de-interlacing in this case?

Do I need to bake the de-interlaced footage before applying keylight?

I wouldn't want keylight to have to deal with anything but the footage. so bake it.
Motion is a better place to key than fcp. AE would be my 1st choice if you have it.
