Adobe Bridge CS5

I shut down the computer each evening when I am done working. On my Mac, every time I power up, Adobe Bridge opens up. Went to System Prefs/Accounts/Log In Items and found Adobe Bridge listed there. I unchecked it but each time I boot up the Mac, running SL, Bridge is open. Why is that so and how do I stop it from doing so? Probably something so obvious I will feel dumb not realizing it but.....

The checkbox, I believe, is for hiding startup items. To remove an item from the list, you have to select it, then use the minus button below the list. Not really obvious...

Dave,
Much thanks. That did it and all is well until the next wonky issue pops up.
