Dual Screen Menu following
November 18, 2010 03:09PM
I have dual screens on my machines but when i open an app. and drag it to the other screen the interface moves but the top menu (file/edit/sequence/tools ... ect stays on the main screen.

Is there a way to have it move with the app?

Not that I know of - but if you want the Menu bar on the other screen you can set it up in Displays Preferences.

thanks. thats kinda what i thought after tinkering for the last few months.

AE to the left no menu, FCP to the right both menus depending on whats selected. Its not horrible maybe we can get that in 10.7 PuttyCat.

Use "Spaces" in Mac OS 10.6, assuming you are running 10.6. It is creates virtual desktops that you can access by using a modifier key and the up-down-right-left arrow keys.
