I edited about 9 minutes of 720 HD from a t2i. I got several images like this video AFTER I exported it. the video plays well in the timeline

in other parts of the exported video, the image is completly green.

Yeah, did you cut in the native H.264 right out of the camera? This is a fairly typical example of the problem that can cause.

===> Yes, I used Mpeg Stream

Sequence Settings:
1280x720 Aspect Ratio HDTV 720p (16:9)
Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square
Anamorphic 16:9 check box: unchecked
Editing Timebase: 59.94

Compressor: H.264 at 100% Quality

I slow-motioned this clip (the girl on the rock) using Cinema Tools. It's now 24 fps.

Could it be this the reason?

thanks for your quick help....

Uh...you converted the H.264 that the camera shoots to...H.264? that was pointless. YOu need to convert to PRORES...that is the edit friendly codec...

I have a tutorial on this... [library.creativecow.net]

And yes, the whole reason this is messed up is you edited H.264...

Thanks For Your Help. I think I found the problem: Digital Juice Swipes. I removed them and the footage looks good now. The Codec on the Swipe is PNG.
