Best Settings for a HD ProRes timeline on a Mac G5

We have the 2005 G5 with 2.5Ghz processors, 2Gig of Ram, and two 1.2TB U320 Huge Arrays.

I am creating a HD slideshow, intermixed with XDCAM 30p 1440x1080 clips
and at present my sequence is set as such

Frame Size 1920x1080 Aspect HDTV 16:9
pixel aspect square
field dominance none
editing timebase 29.97
compressor apple prores 422 at 100% quality

As I am intermixing stills with basic motion with some XDCAM footage
I was wondering if I should have set the sequence to 1440x1080 to match the XDCAM aspect?

Thanks

Continue to work in Square Pixels 1920x1080 otherwise you will reduce the quality of the stills.

1440x1080 "HD" stretches to fit an area equivalent to 1920x1080 anyway so you are viewing the XDCAM as it would look upon broadcast/playback.
