Anybody else having problem opening YouTube URLs in MPEG STREAMCLIP?

Trying to grab a portion of a clip off YouTube tonight using MPEG and keep getting same "File open error: can't open the file" message. Worked fine earlier today. Wondered if anyone else is having same problem or if I screwed something up somehow.

And does anyone have any other suggestions besides MPEG for downloading/converting YouTube vids into Apple Pro Res files?

And this is just for personal thing I'm working on. Still doing some practice projects as I become more proficient on FCP.

I don't use MPEG Streamclip for anything. For Youtube vids, I have an Add-On in Firefox called DownloadHelper that pulls the FLVs and open them with the Adobe Media Player.

When life gives you dilemmas...make dilemmanade.

I use Safari. No add ons. Apple option A for activity window, find the movie stream, apple C to copy, then download window (apple option L), then paste.
