FCP to STP pan settings not transfering?

I'm trying to mix a project started in FCP. This is my first time using STP, so I did most of my audio work in FCP. The dialogue was recorded mono but came into FCP as a linked stereo pair. I went ahead and adjusted the level to zero in the viewer for all clips. When I go to STP, the clips play only on the left channel.

You need to set the pan to 0 in FCP, not the levels. If you double click the clip in the timeline to load it into the viewer, you can change the pan slider to 0 (rather than what it's probably at -1) or you can just select the clip and go to Modify > Audio > Pan Center.

I apologize if my initial post was unclear, the pan is set to zero and it was done in the way you mentioned. In FCP the files play in both channels in STP they do not for some reason.
