Exporting transcriptions in log notes

Hi everyone

I transcribed my interviews in the "log notes". If I remember correctly, you can export the contents of the browser using the "export" then "batch list" command to get a file that microsoft excell can open. But everytime I try FCP crashes. Anyone know how to export my log notes? and for future reference, if anyone has a workflow suggestion for transcribing interviews that does not involve a 2nd computer, I love to know about it.

could be your log notes are just too large to export.

you may have to copy/paste manualy
still, better than starting over.

have a look at InqScribe, transcription software for Mac.
(not a recommendation, it's just one i've seen around)

Disable the columns you don't need in the browser.
