Wooops! Pixelated Andy Warhol Look!

Recently when I look at old quicktime movies I've made, they are pixelated in very few colors kind of an Andy Warhol look. They never looked that way when I made them years ago.

I just made a new Quicktime with the same results.

What's goin on? How do I fix it?

Perhaps your copy of Quicktime is corrupt? Try looking at one of the wonky ones on another computer to see if it's the file or the player.

Funny thing. Once the QT file is sent off to Youtube, it looks normal. It's only when viewing the QT file directly on my computer that it's wonky.

Youtube converts your clip to another format, so it sounds like it's your copy of quicktime that is bung, not the clips themselves. Did you try the same clip on another computer somewhere?
