footage offline in clip thumbnail on timeline, FCP7

The footage has the red/black offline notice in the clip thumbnail on timeline, although the clips clearly contain their content and i can edit/work with the rushes,

How can i clear the offline notice in the clip?

Does it being there actually have any effect on the stability of the project file?

Delete the Thumbnail Cache.
