"SAVE PROJECT AS" issue

Hi all:
When I go to Save Project As, I find that my Final Cut Pro 7 does not recognize either the mini 5400 rpm drives or any travel drive, both properly formatted the same as the internal drives which are recognized. Is that just what FCP does, or is there something I can do to have FCP recognize these? Thanks. Stan

Try following the path MacHD > Users > Yourusername > Desktop to see if the drives are there.

Arrange the FCP windows so that they leave space to see the pertinent drives on the desktop. Press Save As, then drag that drive from the desktop to the sidebar in the Save As dialog window.
