I have video running at 25 FPS and have a dubbed language at 23.976 that I need to conform

Long story short, I work at a post house and I am having to conform a sound file that was taken off of video at 23.976 to a video that is 25 fps. I have tried everything from taking the audio i have to conform, exporting it with a video track, conforming it in Cinema Tools and trying to realign it there but no avail. I have Cinema tools, FCP 7, Soundtrack pro and QT to work with, can someone help? If you need more info I will give the most I can give. thanks!
Rough method.
Open the 25 FPS Video in QT Player and select all.
Open the 23.976 FPS Audio in QT Player, select all and copy.
Select the Video file again and use "Add to Selection & Scale".
Remove original video and audio and "Save as ..."
In Soundtrack adjust the pitch.

i have used fit to fill for this sort of thing.
with your 25 fps version in a timeline,
and your 23.976 version in the viewer
find identical sync points at the head and tail of both versions,

then do a fit-to-fill edit. (F11, or use the green overlay if you drag to the canvas)

but really, i think you need that 23.976 video as well as the audio .
that will hope you find if there are any areas where the cut is different.
