pro rez 422 and pro rez HQ

Hi my friends.
I am working on a project that had most of the media at Pro Rez 422. The producer was thinking that wouldn't be good enough for broadcast and want to upload the rest of the media at ProREz HQ. Is there a big difference in quality, and will they both work together seamlessly in the same sequence?

they can sit side by side in the same timeline quite happily.
more so if they are the same frame size.
most important is that the frame rates match.

the benefit of the HQ comes when you grade.

if MOST of the project is already ProRes422, i wonder what a difference the extra footage will make.

Depending on the size of the project (ie. amount of media), you may also want to wait until you've locked picture. Then re-ingest only the clips used in the edit.
