Flickering footage on monitor at 23.98p

I am getting video Flickering footage on monitor at 23.98p using FCP 7

monitor is sony lmd 2110w

Hard to tell when you don't have other info than frame rate and monitor wish is never the problem.
What is the card, view settings, computer, clips, etc.
