Getting timecode audio in DSR-20

Here's one I can't figure out. Perhaps you can and I welcome the input.

MacPro
2.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
OS X 10.6.8
FCP 7.0.3

THis happened instantaneously; I did no code or settnig changes. When playing any FCP timeline in SD,
I am all of a sudden getting what sounds like timecode audio through my headphones when they are plugged into my Sony DSR-20. When I pug my headphones directly into the computer, the audio is normal. My When I go to the dropdown menu in VIEW, I activate ALL FRAMES, the I activate REFRESH A/V DEVICES. No difference. And when I go to the AUDIO PLAYBACK, no matter what I activate, I still get the loud digital audio but, again, only through my headphones when plugged into the DSR-20. I have never had this happen before. It sounds like a feedback, but I can't tell. Any advice?

My apologies for the premature email. I figured out the situation. I dumped the Final Cut Pro User Data and everythin returned to normal. Thanks, guys.
