Logging P2 Footage without FCP?

Hey guys...This might be a dumb question, but...

If I have a bunch of the raw P2 media from a Panasonic HVX, is there a way to turn it into Quicktime files without going through the Log and Capture process in FCP? I'm on the road and don't have FCP on my laptop, but I'd like to get some logging out of the way. Don't know if thats even possible; anyone know of any solutions? Hope you're all doing well, thanks!

Yes. Get an app called EDIT READY by divergentmedia.com. Drop the entire CONTENTS folder into the drop zone, and all the clips will pop up. If you shot DVCPRO HD...select PASSTHROUGH. If you shot AVCIntra...choose ProRes 422. flag all the footage you want converted, and then convert all flagged...or convert all.
