i am not an expert at audio editing. How do you take out a loud airconditioner in the background of your audio. I tried the audio filters in fcp, but i confess, I'm not so versed in thier usage.
<HTML>Since their is no real time preview of audio filters in FCP it is a real pain if not impossible to use them effectively. YOU might try the high pass filter but if you have heavy ambient noise over dialogue, you are basically screwed. You can bring into a post house and have them do it but you can NEVER just lift the air conditioner and leave the dialogue. There are filters out there that will help but you need to use them with another audio app and I can't remember the name of the filter. Will try to find it.
