<HTML>Hi,

I imported text from photoshop in pict format and I also imported a text animation made with flash 5. When I put them into the timeline, the text is perfectly visible and crisp. But I see the red line in the timeline indicating a render is needed. After the render, the text becomes all blured and there is a tremendous loss in definition, up to the point where I can't read the text anymore. I'm fairly new to FCP and any help is greatly appreciated (I use FCP 1.2.5)

<HTML>The DV codec is very hard on the sharp edges of text.
