Artifacting

Somebody mentioned a de-artifacting filter in response to a posting the other day. Is there a recommended solution to this as it pertains specifically to panning text among other things? FCP HD dual 1G G4.

Thanks for the time!

Do you possibly mean de-interlacing?

You are probably referring to de-interlacing - which is used to help text moving vertically.

De artifacting would be a nice trick.
It should be developed right after the finish the art direction fix filter and the script correction plug in that will take a bad concept and make it better.

Part of the package anyway.

She whom must be obeyed just chimed in that her top priority would be a budget uprez slider. She's right again.

I'd gladly re-render all my projects to apply that one.

I see...
I am always so amazed that there is some easy fix to things I (self taught) have struggled mightily with... only to find some plug in designed for it exactly. Thought I saw someone mention a Graham artifacting plug in... imagine my text scrolliong/panning excitement

So it's the budget uprez slider after all...

I guess I need to make it down to one of those meetings where I can pick up a flyer on the talent filter...

Thanks all
