Premier Pro too Final Cut

Hello everyone,
I got project that is later going to be edited on Final cut 4.5, but in the meantime I want to Digitize all the footage on my PC which has Primier Pro.

My question is Can I capture on Premier Pro and later import all the digitized clips into final cut 4.5 or is there a way to digitize in Premeir Pro settting capture settings in a way that the clips are all quicktime files which are easily read by Final cut pro 4.5

I use Premiere Pro to capture onto an external hard drive (using MacDrive on the PC to write to the Mac formatted hard drive).

I then read the .AVI files directly into FCX with no problem.
