Where is AC3 in Compressor2?

Can not find AC3 codec in the new Compressor 2.

Anyone open the secret for me?

Want to go from FCP5 to Compressor2 to DVDSP4.
Need m2v(video) and AC3(audio).

Cant find the codec in compressor2.

When doing the full install of DVDSP an application called "A.Pack" also installs in your Applications folder. Use that to convert your AIFF or audio files to AC3. It's a double step but well worth the effort. The LAFCPUG forum has numerous posts about using it - plus this one.

Apack is no longer part of FCP v5 or DVDSP v4.

Its supposed to be built into Compressor2.

Its the Dolby Digital presets. Look in the Apple-Presets.

Set dialog normalization to -31 to "leave the soundlevels untouched"
Set Compression Preset to "None"
