Install sony dvd-cd burner dru-500A not work

Hi-

I'm working on a G4 400ghz, 1.2.6 and I installed a sony dru-500a cd-dvd burner and it will read but it will not write anything. I also the troied installing and usung yu-burner but still nothing. I was trying to write on jvc dvd-r 1-4x verbatim cd-r and I cannot select yu-burner and disc copy says that it cannot find any suitable drives. Any ideas?

Since you are on such an old version of the operating system - 10.2.6?
try downloading BatchBurn for OS X10.2 and see if that doesn't clear up the problems.

Isn't it Patchburn?

Yeah, I can't type. The P and B are not even close on the keyboard.
