New Compressions

Ok, Can't find any clear literature for this one so some of you most likely can unravel this.

In compressor they've come up with new names as well as in QuickTime 7.0.1 just when I mastered Compressor 1 and QuickTime 6.5.

Oh how they like to confuse

Going to DVD...(DVDSP4)

what are the differences between:
Compressor 2,
1) Animation
2) DVD Best Quality 90 min 4:3
3) MPEG-2 90 min high quality encode

Then Using QuickTime Conversion
1) H.264 key frame rate 24
2) Animation
3) DV/DVCPRO
and good old
4) Sorenson Video 3
