Chapter Markers. . .

Hi Everyone,

I have been using FCP sporadically and am having problems getting my chapter markers to show up when I export out of FCP to iDVD Pro.

I have tried several way to get it to work, but every time I import to iDVD Pro, no chapter marker show up.

I'm adding the markers in FCP via the "`" key, then go back and open the edit marker, click the "add Chapter Marker" then change the "<Chapter>" to "<Chapter #>". On frames that has a marker, a white square shows up with Marker # and below that <Chapter #>, so think I've added them correctly.

Have I done something wrong when I'm exporting my video file?

Don't add anything in the <chapter> tag. Just name the chapter in the space provided.

If you want to name the chapters beforehand in FCP, put it as the main marker name. As Jim pointed out, don't change the <CHAPTER> designation.

Knew it had to be something simple. Guess I didn't add any info to the tag the other times that it worked.
