HDV rushes

We have purchased a DV Log-X package to log our HDV rushes and discovered that we might have to upgrade to the silver version which is compatable with FCP5. Before we go any further into purchasing more software, I thought it would be useful to find out if this product is at all reliable. We have the basic model and the logging of timecode so far doesn't seem to be very accurate. Still problem solving.
If it works it will be a timesaver. Has anybody used it? Is there a better product? Is HDV our problem?

Take a serious look at HDVxDV. $80 and it does wonders. Just had the creator give a good demonstration at the last meeting.

Will HDVxDV be able to do batch logging/capturing. I hate doing one clip at a time.
