ICA On-Set Colorist With Red Cameras: Los Angles will be providing Training in Los Angeles at Roush Media on the following course twice.

The 2 day course is to be presented on the weekend of February 19th to 20th and also on Tuesday February 22nd and 23rd. The instructor will be Lorne Miess. Please note the class date changed for the 2nd class due to a Monitor and Display Calibration class being added.

The classes are for industry professionals, digital imaging technicians, assistant colorists and newer colorists. This is an intermediate level class, that covers colour correction on-set, how to communicate with DOPs and camera crews, some basic color theory and an in depth look at color tools. It also suggests grading strategies, and session management. There will be a multiple Red Cine-X stations to demonstrate and use.

The 1 day course is to be presented on Monday February 21st. The instructor will be Lorne Miess in conjunction with SpectraCal the designers of award winning CalmanPC software.

The classes are for industry professionals, colourists, digital imaging technicians, assistant colorists, newer colorists and editors. This is an intermediate level class, that covers colour theory, colour spaces, colour management, intro to plasma, LCD and LED panels, calibrating multiple monitors, on-set as well as post production workflows. There will be a multiple computers running Spectracal?s CalmanPC software to demonstrate and use.
