Hey guys.

Here is an ad we just finished at Babusjka in Oslo.
We shot it on a Varicam but instead of going to tape I
dragged the whole edit suite including RAIDs to the
shoot and captured 10bit HD straight into the system.

This gave us superior quality and leaway in post.

Software used:
Final Cut, After Effects, Fusion, Maya.

====Sorry guys had to remove the link. Ill put it back up again once its been aired====

Looks great Johan - I can't imagine the size of fan you had to have going for that guy's hair to blow back wet like that. He must have been freezing.

Did spot the continuity. tongue sticking out smiley

By the way - what's the announcer saying? Something about being able to outwit the Gods? Lovely concept.

Also, this is a good example of how much sfx can ramp up the fx. The noise of a sword being drawn (knife being sharpened?) as he pulls back right before the slowmo really lifts the drama of that movement, and there's a bunch of other good hits like that in there - like the massive deep boom of the triton hitting the sea floor. Noice.

haha

The announcer is saying sort of "Since we are the best in the world at drilling for natural gas at the bottom of the ocean we want the best engineers in the world to come work for us"

Its basically an ad for potential employees. Norway has 1.8% unemployment and its difficult to find people in the richest country in the world.

So basically they want body building god like men to join them....

Oh yeah - you're right. Triton was the guy who carried the trident. Damn the ancient Greeks and their same same naming conventions..

Wasnt Trident a stick of chewing gum who found the Golden Fleece in Colchis? Or was that Jason?

I think it was Big Red. Wasn't Golden Fleece a petrol outlet?

Isn't Golden Fleece a breakfast cereal? ...or is that Golden Grahams...

Yeah, Johan...saw the spot...very impressive shoot / look. Too bad the client can't be swayed to use a white logo on the end. Would make a world of difference.

Yep thats "Clients" for you.
