color advice, seperating the subject and the background

I have footage of a little white girl with sandy color hair on a wooden bridge. The camera man didn't white balance and it was a rainy day out. the color is very dull. What I need advide with is, the little girl's skin and hair along with the wooden bridge are close to the same color. I am trying to make the girl stand out and have a nice rich color without the bridge swallowing her.
what would you suggest?

Mac Pro, with Intel
Final Cut Studio 2
