Does anyone like this monitor for use with color 24-INCH BROADCAST STUDIO MONITOR DT-V24L1U. I am currently cutting a project that will go the the BBC, I have looked at the price of this monitor and feel that it fits in with my limited budget. It's selling at B&H for 2000 is there something better within this price range?

I use the DV-V24D1U which is supposed to be the same monitor except it has HD-SDI where as the L1U uses component HD hookups. All in all it gets the job done but if my company had to buy a new monitor this wouldn't be at the top of the list. The biggest issue I have is the viewing angle. If you are not starting dead center into the monitor the image goes down hill fast. If you could swing a little more money I'd check out the Flanders Scientific Inc., monitors. They cost more but they are better and they come w/built it scopes.

I use it too, and I confirm that the viewing angle is a real problem, and I thing I'm gonna change my screen to the Asus 26inche
