Compressor encoding in MacPro 12 core

Using the Compressor encoding hack in my new 12 core Mac Pro doesn't seem to work the same as it did in the old 8 core machine. Re doing the settings in QMaster doesn't seem to have any effect like it did before. Is there a new trick to this?

Could you be a little more specific? Which hack are you referring to and how has it changed?
