Drop Shadow Control?

If I were to bring in an object, let's say from motion, into FCX, and want to add a Drop Shadow to it, like I can in FCP7, has anybody found where that control is?

There isn't one, but I think someone made one using Motion. You might try googling it.

All the best,

Look for
Brendan Gibbons
Simon Ubsdell
Alex Gollner (Alex4d)
who are human FCPX filter factories.

Learn Motion Rigging and Publishing and the world is your oyster . . . or at least you'll be able to pry open the FCPX claim shell.

I didn't think it was in there but I thought i'd ask. I can do it in Motion, I just use to like doing the drop shadows in FCP. It let me be able to see how much of a drop shadow I needed.

The Motion Rigging and Publishing is new to me. I guess you can say, new to all of us. I'm I correct in saying you can build an object in Motion 5, and rig it so when it is in FCX, you can adjust the drop shadows while in FCX?

Thanks,

The drop shadow function is not as straight forward as I thought it would be. I tried a simple publish of parameters, but it didn't come across. There is more to it than just turning it on.

All the best,

Tom
