on my Macpro I can not import far camera or SDcard
when I launch the import menu, the cards icons shows under Cameras, but keeps spinning and never mounts
I tried on my MacBookPro, and it got no problems on the same cards
rebooted, changed cabels, reader, cards
I have trashed my FCPX prefs, but still the same
anyone?

Disk Warrior "only" repairs the directories, won't help to recover deleted files.

I've heard good things about this:

Trouble is it will only recover RECENT files deleted, meaning try it now dont wait.

There's also Data Rescue.

No. The idea behind data recovery softwares such as Data Rescue and the one from Stellar Phoenix, is that when you delete a file from a hard drive, it doesn't actually delete the data from the particular block immediately, unless you choose the option of a secure wipe. Deleting a file in most cases merely gives the OS permission to overwrite it with new data. So before that data has been overwritten, data recovery softwares are able to scan the blocks for files and file fragments. However, once that data from that "deleted segment of the disk" has been overwritten, chances of data recovery becomes very low. So yea, if you have accidentally deleted a file, do not wait. Run data recovery immediately.
