10.2.8 File Size DV Audio Capture Bug

Hello All,

May have just found another 10.2.8 bug. When capturing DV footage via firewire and selecting within System Settings: Limit Capture/Export File Sequement Size To - 2000 MB (the max size file Apple allows to be opened over a network) the captured audio plays back garbage, starting just before 10 min. into the clip thru to the end. If I turn off the limit size, the audio capture works fine. The problem happens on both of my FCP 4 OS 10.2.8 systems. One system is running QT 6.3 the other QT 6.4.

Dual 800 / Dual 867 G-4's , FCP 4, OS 10.2.8, QT 6.3 / QT 6.4,
Sony DSR-11 DV deck

Just ran the same test with the 2000MB partition on FCP 3 / 10.2.8 / QT 6.4 / DSR-11 and it works fine. This tells me it could be a FCP 4.0.2 bug after all. I am going to try a capture to my FCP 4.0.2 bay in a few hours from a different model DV deck to see if it makes a difference. Will advise.

OK, I tested a 2000MB limit capture with a Sony VX-2000 as the playback. The problem is still there. This is definetly a 4.0.2 bug.
