Help

When I click on sequence settings on the menu bar the settings window starts to open and then FCP crashes, Whoa what's going on?

FCP has never given me problems like this before.

How do I trash preferences? Willit help?

Exact same problem. Real consistent bug. Tried a reinstall, no help. Could use a quick solution. Deadline clock is ticking.

The previous messages were all based on a previous version of FCP. Which version are you using?

I would have been on v.4.0 or 4.1. Now on 4.5HD and haven't had a problem.

Am working on version 4.1, am also based in Vanuatu where download time for the HD upgrade is over 6 hours, and very expensive... will let you know how I go when I finally get it. Ta. :-)
