2:3:3:2 Pulldown drops wrong frames

When using FCP 4 and capturing footage shot on the Panasonic AGDVX100A in 24P Advanced mode, FCP can and nearly always does drop the wrong frames resulting in a strobing effect. There are no options in the program toward locating the "A" frame or anything like that, so there appears to be no way to correct this annoying problem.

Anyone have any answers?
