error: out of memory

I'm getting an "error: out of memory" warning when i open a project i've been working on and then it doesn't open. i have enough memory (1024) and larger files that do work just fine. i read on the fcp sight that it may be a certain audio card, but that's not it... help would be great. urgent. thanks.

I have had a similar problem.

I deleted my render files, and copied the sequence to a new sequence, did the trick for me.

unfortunately, i can't even open my project. i tried openning it on another system and got the same message. i even bought more ram and that didn't work. could it be something weird ina setting that got changed somehow? thank you for helping
