FCP5: Ripple Delete not working on Thru-Edit clips.
FCP5, QT7.01, OS10.4.1 weirdo stuff here. i;ve trashed prefs, and copy/pasted in to anew sequnce. also i can repaet this in a new sequnce with new clips. Example 1. put a clip in V1 and add a thru edit. put another clip after it on V2 select the bladed pair on V1, Ripple Delete. Result: Simple Delete happens, not Rippple Delete Example 2. put a clip in V1 and add a thru edit. put another clip after it on V2 put a third clip after the second on V1 select the bladed pair on V1, Ripple Delete. Result: Clip3 moves to where it should, but Clip2 on V2 stays put. Example 3. put a clip in V1 and add a thru edit. put another clip after it on V2 put a third clip after the second on V1 add another clip to V2 after the third clip select the bladed pair on V1, Ripple Delete. Result: Clip3 moves to where it should, but Clip2 on V2 stays put Clip4 ALSO moves to where it should. Could someone else try this? thanks, nick
Nick, you're scaring me with all this FCP5 stuff. Have you got all your tracks AutoSelected for these operations?
