Hi there.

A qucik question
Are there any other types of video i can import into dvdstudio.
For instance .mov or any other type of quicktime.

Also. Is there anyway of importing the .m2v files back into finalcut or anyother package, so they can be used for editing.
I have an .m2v file but not the original source files and wanted to import the .m2v file and use it to edit with

Cheers ... Nick

As far as I know:

You can only use .m2v files (the DVD standard) in DVDSP2. DVDSP does not convert the files...compressor does, then import them as .m2v.
As for editing .m2v in FCP, you can't. You will have your best luck burning a DVD, then playing it on a DVD player - through a breakout box - and capture now in FCP.

Nick,

You can import QuickTime (.mov) files into DVDSP2, and it will encode for you in the background.

Check this out for Importing an M2V back into Final Cut Pro:
