Importing a .psd file to assets

Importing a .psd file to assets

I have successfully imported already an .m2v and a .aif file to assets, but my DVDSP1.5 doesn't "see" my .psd file I want to import. What am I doing wrong?

Have you checked that the PSD is of the correct size - 720 * 480 for NTSC, 8 bit, RGB?

The file is within NTSC dimensions. What else must I do to prepare the file? It was a B&W jpeg file that I saved to .psd at 720X480. I did not alter the file in any other way.

Ok - Does it have at least one layer on top of the background? If not, it won't work. If you just want the background image, try saving as PICT.
