DVD blanks

I have been told by a MAC person that the superdrive can use both DVD-R and DVD+R as though they were a dvd-r?
I bought some dvd+r by mistake.

Yep - No matter if you happen to have one the latest MAC Superdirves that are actually a SONY product that can write either + or -. the MAC can only use DVD-R; at least for now.

I have been doing a little checking around and people who sell DVD-R blanks all seem to agree that Ritek media is the best.

My understanding is that the newest version of Toast is required to burn DVD+R as the mac burner won't touch it otherwise.

Panther is reportedly bringing DVD+R to the mac OS.
