Quality difference between encoders?

hello,

I am new to this, maybe this Question is ask before,
is there a difference of Quality in the mpeg 2 conversion:

-if I take in FCP 4 export Quicktime mpeg2
-if I take Compressor
-if I take my Qt movies to DVD pro and than do the conversion
ofcourse with the same bit rate value!

Where you will really see a difference is at low bitrates. In my opinion compressor really shines at low bitrates ( the 120 minute settings). For a short movie with high bitrates it's not quite as apparent. But keep it under 7.5 total for recorded discs.
