burning dual layer

Looking for a good tutorial for burning dual layer, preferably online. When trying to burn dual layer I get to a point where it says media not ready? I am using dual sided disks, just looking for more information on the set up. My weddings are typically about one and a half hours, with chapter menus, I can't fit them on a regular disk, even when compressing the audio with a-pak.

Dual or Double layer is DVD-9 and is two layers on the same side of the disc. You are trying to do single layer-single sided and that requires you split up the content and burn each side separately.

A 1.5 hr clip should not be hard to put onto a single layer one sided disc.

A one and a half hour video with a chapter menu added seems to increase the meter on the top to 5.7gig, I agree with the one and a half alone. It does change the content size when I add a chapter menu, thats when I have tried the DVD9 disk, it does all the initial muxing etc. then says media not ready?
