Menu question

I am creating a menu in Motion.
I would to be able to have the buttons and text menu to fade in 10 sec into the open montage
Unfortunately if I am able to fade the text because I created it in Motion, I am not able to find any template button in SDVDPro that fade in.
What's happening is that the buttons are already showing when my open animation starts.
Ideally all I would need is a button that is transparent. I would create the colored button in Motion and would place the transparent button over the colored button.
I hope I am making sense.

You can create a transparent button in DVD SP -- I think you answered your own question
