Menu Disappears

Disappearing menu

I'm working on a PPC G5 Mac using DVD Studio Pro 4. It's a 6 Gb DVD authoring job so I created a DVDR 9 master that I sent to the plant. The plant is telling me the CHECK DISCs they made from the master have this strange problem: the menu disappears! The master however does not have this problem. The master plays fine.

Can someone please explain why the check discs are having this problem and the master is not??

they are telling me it's an authoring issue but I have no idea what it could be.

Very peculiar.

if you burn a disc from your mac does the menu show? If not, change the preferences for rendering from hardware to software based (in DVDSP prefs) or vice versa, depending on what it is using at the moment.

When you created the master, did you check it?
