you are always right....

Someone told me to use Pro tools instead of idvd, i didnt listen......
until yesterday.....


I did my first project using FCP, Compressor and DVDSP
IT was faster, way faster than idvd.....

Old ways:
-Export FCP movie to Desktop.
-Import in idvd
-IDvd would take 4 hrs for a 2 hr movie encoding and burning
-During this time ( 4 hrs) I Do Not use the computer
-If I need to make a changes in the DVD cover, I have to repeat this process ( 4 hrs)
-Unable to do a 16.9 movie


New Way:
-Export FCP movie to Desktop
-Import to COmpressor
-Compressing in the background while I can star editing the next project in FCP, surfing the web, or just watching funny vids on YouTube
-DVDSP takes like 20 minutes burning the DVD. At this time I don't Use the Computer.
-If I need to make a changes in the DVD cover, I just spend 20 minutes burning a new dvd
-I can watch movies with correct aspect ratio 16.9

This new way is like I gain 1.30 hrs.
