Motion with GeForce4 Ti 4x AGP, 128MB DDR

Posted by Adam Cohen
Anybody having positive results installing and using Motion on a G4 system using the GeForce4 Titanium Video Card, 4x AGP, 128MB DDR GPU?

I would LOVE to hear that this is possible, or actually I'd just love to confim one way or the other what the results are with this configuration.

Thanks you in advance!

Just download the motion Compatibility Checker to test yor system for Motion compatibility. Then get yourself the ONLY video card that will work in a G4 with a 4x AGP socket and Motion. ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Mac Edition and IF you have an Apple ADC display - spend another $100 to connect it to this card.

Sorry Adam,

The GeForce4 is never possible to run with "Motion", even you know how to bypass the installer script. I guess, that's all because of the OpenGL standard and the Shader revision, they already changed.

So that, the GeForce4 or MX, ati 8500, ati 9000, ati 9200.... seem to be don't meet those standand and can't run the "motion".
